Telus has comercials to advise us the future is friendly. I would like to know how many employees that were let go from Telus will still keep their same services. As the future is no longer friendly... I would have to say... Sales is done mainly by positive word of mouth and how the company treats you as a customer. They should have treated their employees and their customers better. A loss of jobs results to a larger amount of cancelled services. Shares will drop, downgrades of services or even cancellation. People have been able to survive in the past without all these extra features and packages. We can do it again. Happy employees means successful business.

This is Karma.

I strongly feel this is a good cause for anyone in Canada wishing to have there jobs stay in canada. there is no excuse for our government to offshore our jobs. Our families live in canada not in manilla . so I strongly feel that yes keep this petition strong so that it sends a strong message to our politicians.

I am constantly amazed at the blind cooperation of Police Officers when large corporations and money are involved. They seem willing to create their own laws to satisfy the corporate agenda even if a law or regulation to the contrary already exists. I had a first hand experience of this almost 5 years ago in Calgary. I thought that only politicians were the entertainment division of our largest corporations. Seems that the Police Departments want to get in on the action as well.

Is there an unknown law that permits Police Officers to lie and create laws that don't exist and enforce them?? I think not.

Well done. I had the same thing happen outside the Vancouver courthouse once. They said I couldn’t stand there with a sign and I said that was a Charter Right. He said I had to move a few feet forward, which would have been obstructing public traffic. I told him I disagreed and could just sit down and let you arrest me with the media watching and he agreed I could do that and left me alone. Keep up the good work. If we do not assert our Charter rights we will lose them.

Thank you so much for the time you spent with us in Ottawa and in Montreal. I sat down with members who were inspired by the campaign and the visual imagery of the rising number on the side of the truck. As they continue to see jobs leave Canada that used to be performed by their friends in the workplace, the messge hits home even more. We need legislation! We need a change in corporate consciousness! We need people to wake up and see that this problem affects our families, our communities, our very way of life in Canada. So keep on trucking guys, and if you need to use duck tape, a rubber band and a paperclip to keep that clock rolling, do it:) Take care guys, and thanks again for what you did in Montreal.

Simple economics is “people work people buy hence people don’t work people cannot contribute to the social economic fabric of this country ”. If TELUS’s goal is long term, with a short sightedness to continue the move of Canadian jobs overseas, who will buy TELUS products or any other service? Canadian’s will have the fun taken out of window shopping.

Good for you, it's about time someone spoke up. My job was outsourced and I no longer work for Telus. I tell everyone I can what Telus does to their employees, most people have no idea that their accounts are handled by someone overseas.

Telus makes all of their huge profits in Canada and they should have to employ Canadians.
